Safeguarding
At Ghyllgrove Primary School and Nursery, the health and safety of all children is of paramount importance. Parents/carers send their children to school each day with the expectation that school provides a secure and safe environment in which their children can flourish. We have thorough procedures in place to ensure the safety and welfare of all our pupils and staff. All our pupils know that they are valued and that any concerns they have will be taken seriously and addressed by the adults who care for them. All staff members and governors receive appropriate child protection training, which is regularly updated and in line with advice from the Essex Safeguarding Children Board (ESCB).
